Wade was born November 10, 2013 the son of former National Basketball Association player Dwyane Wade and Aja Metoyer. He has two older brothers: Zaire and Zaya, and one sister: Kaavia. He also has two maternal older half-sisters According to Dwyane Wade, he and Union briefly split up in early 2013 due to career demands. During that time, Wade and longtime friend Aja Metoyer conceived Xavier. After he was born, his father married actress Gabrielle Union in 2014.
In honor of his first birthday, his mother threw him a Disney and Mickey Mouse themed birthday party.
