Personal Life[]

Ball is the daughter of Robert and Catherine Slatinsky. She is the athletic director at Vernon Middle School in Montclair, California. She married former football player LaVar Ball, her college sweetheart. "I transferred from Washington State and saw her in the hall. Wow. She knocked me off my feet. I stopped her in the hall and said: ‘I don’t know what we’re going to do together, but we’re gonna do something.’ She was like, ‘is this guy cocky or what?’"

Together, they have three sons: Lonzo (b. 1997), LiAngelo (b. 1998), and LaMelo (b. 2001). Lonzo is currently a point guard for the Chicago Bulls, while LiAngelo is a member of the Greensboro Swarm and LaMelo plays point guard for Charlotte Hornets. Her granddaughter Zoey is named after her.

On February 21, 2017 she suffered a stroke and subsequently was dealing with aphasia. In August 2017, Ball and her family premiered in their Facebook reality show, Ball In The Family.
