Natalia Diamante Bryant (January 19, 2003) is an American volleyball player who attended Sage Hill High School in Los Angeles, California. A junior middle hitter for her high school team, she has repeatedly drawn attention from national sports media. She is the daughter of NBA player Kobe Bryant.
Biography
Bryant is the eldest child of retired Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant and model Vanessa Bryant and has three siblings. She has three youngers sisters, Gianna, Bianka, and Capri. Her mother is Mexican and her father is African-American. She is the granddaughter of Joe Bryant and great-niece of John "Chubby" Cox. Bryant's middle name means 'diamond' in Spanish.
High School Career
Despite her father's basketball fame, Bryant grew up without a passion for the game and preferred volleyball. Starting in her freshman season, Bryant played volleyball for Sage Hill at the middle hitter position. Her highlight videos immediately helped her gain popularity on the Internet and appeared in The Washington Post. Bryant saw significant improvement as a sophomore and helped her team win their second straight title. She also plays club volleyball for Mamba Ballers.
