Masey Zegarowski (born March 5, 1997) is an American former college basketball player who played for the Bryant Bulldogs women's basketball of Northeast Conference.

Early Life[]

Zegarowski is the daughter of Zach and Mandy Zegarowski, and has three brothers: Michael, Marcus, and Max. Her parents played college basketball and were basketball coaches in Massachusetts. Her brothers are basketball players: Michael and Marcus are NBA players and Max plays shooting guard for Franklin Pierce.

High School[]

Zegarowski attended her first two years of high school at Ipswich High School in Ipswich, Massachusetts, where she was coached by her mother Mandy Zegarowski. She led the Ipswich Tigers to a 37-9 record including two Cape Ann League titles, and was named the 2013 Salem News Player of the Year. She transferred to Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and reclassified as a sophomore. While playing in a scrimmage, she sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and did not play for the team again.  As a junior, she averaged 18 points per game and five assists, but Brewster finished 6-17 on the season.

As a senior, she later transferred and graduated from Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire, where her team won New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) championship. In addition to basketball, she also participated in soccer and track and field. Before her lone season began at Tilton School, Zegarowski committed to the Bryant University over offers from Villanova, Cornell, Yale, Colgate and UMass Lowell.

College Career[]

Zegarowski started in all 121 games during her career in bryant from the 2016–17 to 2019–20 seasons. In her junior year (2018–19 season), she averaged a career best 7.8 ppg and hit four game winning shots. Zegarowski is a career 34.8% 3-point shooter who also averaged 2.2 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game. Following the 2019-20 season, Zegarowski was named an Honorable Mention All-American by the Associated Press.
