Marcus Zegarowski (born August 3, 1998) is an American high school basketball player for Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire and is the younger brother of current NBA player Michael Carter-Williams.

Early Life

Zegarowski is the son of Zach and Mandy Zegarowski, and has three siblings: Michael, Masey, and twin Max. Both of his parents played basketball during college and were both high school basketball coaches. All three of his siblings are currently playing basketball: Michael, is a member of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls, Masey plays point guard at Bryant University Max play basketball in high school.

High School Career

For her first two years of high school, Zegarowski played basketball Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School in Hamilton, Massachusetts. Also on the team, nicknamed the Generals, was twin brother Max. He missed half of his freshmen season with a broken thumb. In his sophomore year he helped lead his team to undefeated 25-0 record and was named the Kinney Division Player of the Year.

In 2015, Zegarowski transferred to the boarding school Tilton Academy in Tilton, New Hampshire where he lived in a dormitory during his final three years of high school. In his second season with Tilton, Zegarowski, was named the Winter Player of the Year. He led the boys hoop team to the National Prep Championship and the Rams were ranked one of the top schools in the nation. Zegarowski was the team leader in points and assists. He was named a Lakes Region All-Star as well as the team MVP and had 28 points in one game in the NEPSAC AA playoffs.

College

Zegarowski is a three-star prospect. He is the fourth-ranked player in Massachusetts and the country's 39th best point guard according to the 247Sports Composite. He is down to Creighton, Washington, Ohio St. & Minnesota.
