He missed half of his freshmen season with a broken thumb. In his sophomore year he helped lead his team to undefeated 25-0 record and was named the Kinney Division Player of the Year.

He led the boys hoop team to the National Prep Championship and the Rams were ranked one of the top schools in the nation. Zegarowski was the team leader in points and assists. He was named a Lakes Region All-Star as well as the team MVP and had 28 points in one game in the NEPSAC AA playoffs. In his senior year, he led the school to a 23–3 record and a NEPSAC AA state title.

Marcus Zegarowski (born August 3, 1998) is an American basketball player who attends Tilton School in Tilton, New Hampshire. He has been ranked among the top high school basketball players of his class and is committed to play for the Creighton Bluejays at the college level. Zegarowski began playing with Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School in his hometown of Boston. He is the younger brother of current NBA player Michael Carter-Williams.
