Lisa Roberson (née Whitesell; born July 30, 1967) is an American former college volleyball player who played for the New Mexico State Aggies women's volleyball team of Western Athletic Conference.
Roberson attended Zionsville Community High School, where she was a standout in track, volleyball and basketball, winning 1983 basketball sectional title team. She attended the New Mexico State University where she played volleyball and obtained a Business Management degree. She finished her career ranking sixth in kills (1,301) and kills per set (3.60), seventh in attempts (3,227) and single season (461), tenth in solo blocks (65), and fourth in kills per set (4.23). In the past she worked at Kiddie Round up and currently works at Judson ISD.
On March 2, 1988, she married former New Mexico State men's basketball player John Roberson, her college sweetheart. The couple have seven children: Ashlee (b. 1988), Amber (b. 1990), André (b. 1991), Arielle (b. 1993), Anthony (b. 1994), Aaliyah (b. 2003), and Arianna (b. 2006). Ashlee played basketball at Texas Tech; Amber played volleyball at University of Texas; André is a member of the Brooklyn Nets; Arielle played basketball at Colorado University; Anthony is a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder; Aaliyah and Arianna are student-athletes as well.
