He is the son of Boston Celtics point guard Jrue Holiday and former United States women's national soccer team midfielder Lauren Holiday, and has an older sister, named Tyler. Both of his parents were All-Americans in their respective sports during college at UCLA. His mother is white and his father is African-American. He is the nephew of Denver Nuggets guard Justin Holiday and Houston Rockets guard Aaron Holiday.
