With sports as his "meal ticket" through high school and college, Williams played basketball at Salem State University where he played on the team from 1988 to 1990.
Earl met [[Mandy Carter-Zegarowski]] while the two were student-athletes at Salem State University in Salem, Mass., just north of Boston. They broke up with Michael was an infant baby. Earl married a woman named [[Rosa Williams|Rosa Rodgriuez]]. Earl has one child with Mandy and one child with Rosa. Earl's first son and oldest child [[Michael Carter-Williams|Michael]] the most famous and popular of all the children, played two years of college basketball at Syracuse and led the team to the final four in his sophomore year. He got drafted 11th overall by the Philadephia 76ers. His second and youngest son [[Adrian Williams|Adrian]] was born in 2000. He also plays basketball.

Earl Williams (born July 15,1969) is an American former college basketball player who played for the Salem State University men's volleyball team of Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Biography[]

With sports as his "meal ticket" through high school and college, Williams played basketball at Salem State University where he played on the team from 1988 to 1990.

His oldest son Michael, is from a previous relationship with former Salem State women's basketball player, Mandy Carter, his college sweetheart. The two have maintained a civil relationship since they broke up.

In 1997, Williams married high school teacher Rosa Rodriguez and they have a son named Adrian. Both of his sons are basketball players: Michael is a member of the Orlando Magic and Adrian plays basketball in high school.
