Dahveon Morris (born September 17, 2001) is an American basketball player.
Early Life []
Morris was born September 17, 2001, in Chicago, Illinois to Deanna Morris, the older sister of former NBA player Dwyane Wade. She still retained parental rights. He lives with four of his cousins: Zaire, Zaya, Xavier, and Kaavia Wade. He spent a lot of time with his uncle growing up. Dwyane gained custody of Morris when he was 12 years old. His real father wasn't listed on his birth certificate and remains unknown.
High School[]
For his freshmen year of high school, Morris played basketball Mount Carmel High School in Chicago, Illinois. Also on the team, nicknamed the Caravans, was his cousin Zaire Wade. Both played on the school's freshman team. For Wade's next two years of high school he played basketball at American Heritage School in Miami Florida. On May 29, 2019, it was announced that Wade would transfer to Sierra Canyon School, a private K–12 school in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, for his 2019–20 senior year in high school.
