Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Carter-Williams is the daughter of former NBA player Michael Carter-Williams and his wife Tia Carter-Williams. She has a younger brother, named Redd. Both of her grandparents were All-Americans in their respective sports during college at Salem State University.
