Bryce Maximus James (born June 14, 2007) is an American basketball player who attends Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, Los Angeles. He has drawn the attention of national media outlets on a regular basis and has received offers from top NCAA Division I basketball programs. James is the son of National Basketball Association (NBA) superstar LeBron James.
James is the middle child of National Basketball Association player LeBron James and Savannah James. Both of his parents were athletes in high school; LeBron played basketball and football and Savannah played softball and was a cheerleader. He has an older brother, Bronny, and a younger sister, Zhuri. His father often takes him and his older brother, Bronny, to his games where they often shoot around with the te cook.
In his childhood, James played several sports including basketball and soccer, but his father did not allow him to play football or ice hockey over safety concerns. Growing up in Akron, Ohio, James attended Old Trail School in Bath Township, Summit County, Ohio. James played for a number of Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball. On August 6, 2018, it was announced that James would attend Crossroads School, a private K–12 school in Santa Monica, California. On May 29, 2019, it was announced that James would transfer to Sierra Canyon School, a private K–12 school in Chatsworth, Los Angeles.
