Arnetta Marie Yardbourgh (born December 10, 1971) is an American businesswoman, philanthropist and is the former girlfriend of NBA center Shaquille O'Neal.


Yardbourgh was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Judson High School in San Antonio, Texas. She attended University of Houston. She currently works as a Professional Life Coach at Otr life coaching, Inc. Her religious views are listed as Christian.

Arnetta Yardbourgh, MLA, CPCC is the Founder and President of AY & ASSOCIATES, LLC, a Coaching, Wellness and Consulting firm. In the coaching and consulting industry for over 14 years now, Yardbourgh loves working with small business owners, entrepreneurs, and organizations as an external coach. Embracing wellness and Mindfulness initiatives has been key in narrating the focus and energy of this social change agent. Never one to shy away from sporting events and opportunities to learn new industries, Yardbourgh also became the President and Co-Owner of the Sugar Land Legends in 2012, an ABA semi-professional men’s basketball team, based in Sugar Land, Texas.

The challenges and gifts in working as a professional and entrepreneur inspired Yardbourgh to take on the role as Chapter President of FemCity® Houston. An advocate of women in business, as a Certified Woman-Owned Business (WBE), Ms. Yardbourgh is excited to connect, support, and bridge those Femfessionals in Houston and surrounding areas.

Personal Life[]

Yardbourgh was in a four-year relationship (1992-1996) with Hall of Fame National Basketball Association player Shaquille O'Neal. They ended their relationship sometime in early January 1996. On July 18, 1996, she gave birth to a baby girl, Taahirah O'Neal. The two have maintained a civil relationship since the birth of their daughter.
