Anthony Lee Roberson (August 28, 1994) is an American college basketball player for the Central Oklahoma Bronchos. He also played basketball at Texas Tech University. He is the younger brother of current NBA player André Roberson.
Personal Life
Roberson comes from a family of athletes. Both of his parents John and Lisa were All-Americans in their respective sports during college at New Mexico State. His mother is white and his father is African-American.He has six siblings: Ashlee, Amber, André, Arielle, Aaliyah, and Arianna. Other than the two youngest siblings who have not yet reached college age, all the Roberson children are current or former athletes: Ashlee played basketball at Texas Tech University; Amber played volleyball at University of Texas; André is a member of the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder; and Arielle played basketball at Colorado University.
Basketball Career
Roberson is a 2012 graduate of Wagner High School in San Antonio where he was a Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) and Texas Boys Coaches Association (TBCA) All-State pick as a senior. He led Wagner to district championship his senior year.
He led Weatherford to the NJCAA Region V Tournament for the first time since 2012. Roberson led the team with 50 blocks at Weatherford College. He earned All-Region V Honorable Mention as a freshman and named All-Region V First Team in 2014-15. He tallied four games with 20 or more points.scored a season-high 30 points against Southwestern Christian Community College, while he shot 50.2 percent from teh field (102-of-203).
